Directions are given from Junction 12 of the M4. The journey should take about 10 minutes from there by car.

Route 1 - via Tidmarsh

Leave the M4 at Junction 12, and take the roundabout exit signposted for Newbury. Go over the First roundabout; turn right at the second onto the A340, heading for Pangbourne. Continue for approximately 2 miles into Tidmarsh and at the Greyhound pub turn left, signposted to Upper Basildon and St. Andrews School. Continue for about 2 1/2 miles until you reach the entrance to St Andrews School. Immediately after the school entrance, fork left into an unnamed lane. The entrance to Herons Farm is on your left after 1/4 mile.

Route 2 - via Pangbourne

Leave the M4 at junction 12, and take the roundabout exit signposted for Newbury. Go straight over the first roundabout; turn right at the second, onto the A340, heading for Pangbourne. Follow this road for 3 3/4 miles, until you reach the village of Pangbourne. In the village, the road you are on wiggles left-right at a hashed yellow box on the road. Turn LEFT here. After about 3 miles turn left at a small cross-roads, signposted to St Andrews School. Just before the school entrance, turn SHARP right (almost double back on yourself). The entrance to Herons Farm is on your left after 1/4 mile.
